Nighttime assistant - extending autonomy

Aladin, from Domalys, is a connected device designed for seniors. It detects when a person gets up in the middle of the night and illuminates their path to the toilet. The goal of this product is to reduce 75% of falls among people over 65 and delay the first fall at home, which can be fatal or lead to dependence in many cases.

Our task was to design a product that is understated and customizable, capable of blending into an interior or even becoming a decorative, perhaps even status-enhancing object for its primary user: the senior.

Its consensus-driven and modern design also aligns perfectly with our client's industrial project, focusing on streamlining production methods.
